about

Welcome to the online catalog of ethnobotanical and ethnographic objects collected from Anishinaabe communities in Michigan and Ontario that are curated at the University of Michigan’s Museum of Anthropological Archaeology (UMMAA). This catalog includes information from the UMMAA collections, the UMMAA archives, and photos from the University of Michigan Bentley Historical Library.

This catalog was created as a Museum Anthropology course project, taught by Lisa C. Young (lcyoung@umich.edu) in the winter 2019 and 2020 semesters.
